Anantara Kalutara is the design hotel, whose lobby and bar are huge, airy spaces finished in polished concrete. Their design is a legacy left behind by Sri Lanka’s most famous architect Geoffrey Bawa. Located close to Colombo, Kalutara is rising in popularity since opening mid-2017 as the resort destination for couples and families to regroup after a 10-day whirlwind adventure exploring the country’s highlands and safaris.

By contrast, Anantara Peace Haven in Tangalle is a family-friendly, beach front luxury resort with incredible service, three outstanding restaurants and views that leave an imprint on your memory (and your Instagram account). Situated perfectly between Kandy and Yala the hotel has been universally well received since opening in 2016.

Minor Group’s Giles Selves engaged The Luxury Group to grow the UK inbound business through the leisure and MICE channels. This full service representation role requires close collaboration with Anantara’s UK Global Sales Office, and Anantara’s global network of GSOs and PR companies to ensure all the relevant tour operators and travel agents are promoting both resorts.
